Brian’s 2nd Southport Ramble Brian Moorcroft organised his second run around the lovely lanes of lancashire repeating the run held a week previously as some of our members were unaware of the first run on Sunday 13th. I’ve just got back from the midweek meet organised by Adrian Such of Central Lancs Section. This is just an informal meeting of the local Sections for a chat and a cuppa and  catch up with friends. I’m still not driving/riding yet due to my recent stroke, but I’m fortunate in the help that I get from my friends who kindly have been driving me to these events. Monday 27th January we were entertained with a talk and a slideshow from John Melling on the county of Shropshire and what a great night it turned out to be. Apart from John’s informative and entertaining talk we had a full room with over 50 members in attendance. Followed by our usual buffet. It was lovely to see more wives and ladies in attendance in what always seems to be male dominated. A lot of our ladies are hardy and enthusiastic  motorcyclists with many miles under their belts.   Sunday12th January what a start for 2020 it was the first event of the year for the N/W VMCC. It was a wet cold morning but it didn’t keep the crowds away.
