Well what a fantastic day we had on Sunday the 9th June! It was all down to one of the Stalwarts of the Northwest Section Brian Moorcroft. Brian is one of our hardest working members to contributes so much effort to raise money for worthwhile charities along with his family and for which we are all so grateful.Despite his advanced years and health issues he puts on a fabulous weekend and has done for many years. There is every type of vehicle there for all of us big boys and girls to drool over. Vintage and classic bikes, cars, lorries and tractors alongside the odd steamroller or Scammell. Food and refreshments along with lovely home made cakes are all available as well as stalls offering autojumble items and other local charities. The event is held over two days but the heavens opened on the Saturday and we had heavy downpours. Luckily there was a complete reversal the following day and we were blessed with sunshine and warm temperatures. I must offer a huge thank you to Brian and his family for the hard work they all put in also to the NW Vintage club members who rally around and help with erecting the Marquee and helping to set up. Also my thanks to the Morris club for their support and everyone else who contribute to make this such a lovely event.Alex
