It was magic a really good turn out. Alex
Bikes Galore at Transport Museum’s Show”.
A ‘Full House’ show of veteran, vintage and classic motorcycles filled the car park on Sunday at the British Commercial Vehicle Museum in Leyland. Organised jointly by the VMCC (North West Region) and the Museum , over 130 beautifully prepared machines were on display. Motorcycles from the early 1900s & 1920s onwards drew loads of admirers . . . .and, of course, lots of questions for the bike owners to answer !

The museum’s State-of-The- Art conference centre/cinema screened archive films from early motorcycling days, and in the exhibition hall a magnificent display of vehicle exhibits from the days of horse-drawn buses, steam driven lorries and unique buses . . . all with stories to tell….ensured that a really good time was had by all !!!

The museum has recently benefited from a multi-million pound restructure as a result of National Heritage Lottery funding. It has been highly acclaimed by ‘Visit England’ following their recent unannounced inspection visit. Further information can be found
