Rebuilt BSA gearbox that he believes came from an A10 or possibly an A7 machine. He has replaced all the bearings and all the gears and dogs are sound and the gears engage. The only new parts required would be a new gearbox sprocket and adjoining oil seal. Dave Kay, of Spital, in the Wirral, is offering the box at £150.
(He’s not sure whether the ratios on an A10 are different from those on an A7 machine, but I suspect someone out there in VMCC Land will know if there is a difference !)
