From Bill Hamilton. Bill used to be a mechanic for Merseyside Police Traffic Division and has been responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of machines over the years, including BMW Boxers, as well as British bikes. The vehicles below are for sale:
1981 BMW R65 which has just 29,251 miles on the clock. It has recently been fitted with new tyres, battery and Surefoot side stand, plus Oxford tank bag and a BMW tool kit. The machine will pass any trial having been completely checked over by Bill and he’s overhauled the gearbox. The machine is very competitively priced at £3,250 o.v.n.o. I believe the machine has had only three owners, two of them being Bill!
In addition, Bill is selling his 2017 (17 Reg,) AJS Cadwell , originally a 125 cc but fitted with the 155cc barrel and piston ‘big bore’ kit.. (Note; this takes it out of the ‘Learner size limit) This bike has covered just 2, 200 km so is just about run-in. As can be seen from the picture, it is in pristine condition. It has been fitted with a pair of stainless steel bar end mirrors and a rear carrier. Bill is asking £1,850 o.v.n.o for the Cadwell. (Price new is £2,900!)
