The North West Section have been strong supporters of the Festival of 1000 Bikes held at Mallory Park each year.
Each year we have had our display stand located on the Avenue of Clubs, and several of our members parade bikes on the track in all of the classes.
It is one of the biggest events in the VMCC calendar and attended by many past masters, former world and national champions.
In 2014, The VMCC made the decision not to run the event, but plans were developed by Mallory Park for a similar event. Check out the events page for more details. The VMCC “festival of 1000 Bikes” is however, returning to Mallory for 2015 with confirmed dates being 11th & 12th July 2015
This year’s event was held in glorious weather, and the North West Section was once again in attendance with the club marquee. Our club chairman Alex had the honour of riding the VMCC’s very own Brough Superior on track, and a number of other members paraded their machines.
A fabulous weekend was had by all those who made the trip down to Mallory Park.
